The jarring imagery in Scott P. Ellis’ photographs
and collages have the power to provoke memories
relating to atrocities from current and historical
events. From the point of view of the artist as
interpreter, these works make associations to
corporate, religious and political corruption.
Ellis delivers a strong visual punch in his photos
created during the radical 90s Montreal punk scene
alongside the current intricate collages born of
mass media hyperbole.
