RE: Making History offers a “visual conversation”
about the Junction’s past and present. Through the
exhibition of historic neighbourhood photographs
alongside current residents’ photographic and
textual responses to these pieces, the complex
relationship that exists between memory and
history in one of Toronto’s rapidly changing
neighbourhoods is revealed. The Gathering Space is
an arts initiative based in the Junction that
researches, reflects and responds to people’s
everyday ideas, stories and memories.
