Iconic Beauty captures a group of Canadian female
artists. Timothy Sullivan morphs traditional
beauty and blurs perspectives in a brushstroke of
power and charisma of the icon. The portraits are
threaded through a narrative by fashion designer
Rosemarie Umetsu. She conveys a powerful vector of
each artist’s identity, and in dialogue, expresses
each artist’s realms. They not only capture inner
beauty, but what they embody and achieve, both
individually and collectively.
