How do our familial and cultural experiences
nurture and inform our identities? The Transition
features photo-based installations which delve
into the strata of these artists’ memories that
lead to the unfolding of their present practice.
They investigate the interaction between
traditional and contemporary methods of
production: layering negatives, constructing
photographic sculptures and interweaving
time-based images. Held in conjunction with OCAD’s
Graduate Exhibit, May 8 – 11.
