With first Contact I address the theme, Between
Memory and History, by reflecting on my personal
history and drawing out my appreciation for the
beauty in all things at all stages of their
existences. Mirroring my exploration of nature’s
cycles of growth, decline and decay, I present
images that illustrate urban growth, decline and
decay.
