The Digital AIDS Quilt
The Digital AIDS Quilt by AC-AF (Africa’s Children
– Africa’s Future) and Project Stitch, is part of
a greater global initiative. In 2007, young people
aged 12-18 from Cameroon, Canada and Tanzania
participated in a series of workshops discussing
the many dimensions of the AIDS epidemic. Local
digital photographers gave beginner seminars on
photography and the power of a photograph. The
resulting images in the exhibition tell the
stories of the participants.
