Modern Homes is a series of photographic images
created by Thomas Blanchard. It developed from his
exploration into the many environmental and health
problems that surround contemporary housing, but
often go unnoticed. Through awkward but poignant
juxtapositions, these photographs create an
imaginative discourse of contemplation in a poetic
dream-like image where subtle clues raise
questions concerning our everyday reality.
