Up the Yangtze
Breathtaking images taken during the production of
Yung Chang’s award-winning documentary Up the
Yangtze produced by EYESTEELFILM, in co-production
with the National Film Board of Canada. The Three
Gorges Dam, the gargantuan and hotly contested
symbol of the Chinese economic miracle, provides
the epic and unsettling backdrop of this film,
chosen as one of Canada’s top 10 films by the
Toronto International Film Festival.
