Memory Box explores the power of collected objects
as touchstones for memory and history. Each
photograph invites the viewer to look inside a
memory box – a deeply private area in the life of
its owner. The objects it contains vibrate with
meaning: talismans of luck, rites of passage,
people, places and events. They transcend the
obvious and signify complex concepts, thus
inviting viewers to consider the meaning of their own
collected objects.
