Aside from the stunning visuals, the Don Valley
Brick Works is an intriguing and intimidating
space. You really feel a sense of the past – of
history. You can imagine what it was like to work
in the factory – what it felt like, smelled like.
And as much as you feel the past there, you also
feel the present in the graffiti, the empty beer
bottles and the pigeons nesting in the rafters
