Still Motions explores the thin line between the
still and moving image. Film and video
installation often draws from, or reflects, its
origins in cinema. Still Motions draws attention
to the still photograph, the core element that
makes up all moving pictures. Still photography
seems to forward an evolution deriving from the
fundamental modes, expressions and aesthetics that
categorize the form, ultimately aiming for fresh
expressions of meaning.
