EXPOSED: Depictions, Discoveries, Discussions, & Debate
Exposed showcases the work of 38 contemporary
photographers (both established and emerging)
whose work depicts personal or social history,
explores or exposes memory, initiates or documents
discussions or invites significant debate. In
keeping with CONTACT 2008’s thematic focus,
Exposed explores photography’s role in depicting
and determining personal and collective memory as
it relates to and defines history. The exhibition
is co-produced by the Gladstone Hotel and
SpeakEasy Events.
