These casual, subjective observations,
produced in Toronto during the spring
and summer of 2008, could be considered
travel photographs only insofar
as the act of travel took place in order
to produce these photographs. There
are few explicit references to locations
or to Canada itself however; instead,
a sense of place is subtly conveyed
through small details and specific
iconography associated with North
America.
