U + Me = We Say What You Mean, Mean What You Say...About HIV and AIDS
AC-AF’s cross-cultural dialogue and
image exchange between youth in
Canada and Tanzania focuses on the
next generation in the face of the
AIDS epidemic. Through experimental
digital photography, the youths in this
project express who they are through
their feelings—their fears and admirations.
Their cultural icons and customs
may vary but their images reveal similarities.
The U + ME = WE programming
aims to empower and educate.
