This group of photographers, also
known as the Shadow Collective,
presents images of forsaken locations
throughout the Southern Ontario and
Western New York region. The collective
presents a visual documentation
of places barely noticed—locations
surrounding us that poetically illustrate
where yesterday went and how
today was shaped. These images ask
the viewer to ponder the importance
of saving the past so that the stories
it contains can be passed on to future
generations.
