House of Krump centres around a small
apartment in a low-income area of Queen
Street East and the lives of the people that
inhabit it. This residence fosters a community;
people from all over the GTA
gather here to krump dance regularly.
Born in Los Angeles, krump has grown
and changed since its creation, but the
ability of the dancer to use it as a momentary
escape from their reality has not.
