A world class exhibition of photographs printed on
stainless steel, by Montreal photographer Nicolas
Ruel, will be held in the 8000 square foot
Fermenting Cellar at the Distillery District through
May 1st, and at the Thompson Landry gallery until
May 20th. This body of work consists of large
format images exploring the relationship between
the four elements (earth, air, fire and water)
including portraits of locations photographed
around the world, as well as abstract or minimalist
images. The medium, stainless steel, carries the
works onto another level of meaning and reading.
