Illuminations II
Since its inception photography has purported to
present true representations of reality, and for just
as long this notion has been challenged by
photographic artists and theorists. Rather than
pursuing the illusive “real” within our world, these
photographers invite us to share a deliberately
constructed and re-invented world seen through
their eyes. These artworks begin as hand built
elements, unique sculptural art, fictionally
constructed as worlds brought to life through the
act of capture.
