The effects of urban development are explored
through photography and printmaking. Steven Dixon’s
photogravures document abandoned industrial sites, signifying
technology’s precedence over the need for natural resources.
In Steven White’s lithographs, he juxtaposes both current
and obsolete technology, examining society’s “thirst for the
new”. David Trautrimas’ screenprints distort, construct and
incorporate objects from the urban landscape, questioning their
traditional use and their importance in society. Artists
