Sebastian Leung STRANGE NATURE
Toronto-based film photographer Sebastian Leung strips away the human-centric notion of “natural” versus “unnatural”, allowing viewers to view human-made byproducts of society no differently than beehives or beaver dams; creations of a species’ compulsive need for survival and comfort. STRANGE NATURE explores the often-overlooked aspects of the urban habitats humans have created for themselves. Is this all they leave behind? Is this their legacy as a species?
