Liminal is a group exhibition by three queer interdisciplinary artists, Tyler Nykilchyk, Ruth Less and Jessica O’Lear, specializing in analogue photographic processes such as cyanotype and silver gelatin.

They integrate historical techniques with experimental methods to create pieces that explore themes of memory, disembodiment, and chronic illness through a combination of tonal variances, form, movement, repetition, and colour. Their work exists at the intersection of identity, environment, memory, and sustainability, thoughtfully considering the printing process’s environmental impact.
