Christian Moise Trimmeliti Nonno and Nonna
The first photo, Nonno Downtown (2009), captures the big persona the artist’s Grandfather had. This photograph captures his morning routine with a cup of coffee from Riviera bakery in little Italy, Toronto. Trimmeliti’s grandparents have lived in little Italy since August, 1965.
The second photo, Nonno Agostino (2009), captures his focused attention on the weather forecast being transmitted via CHIN radio. His concern was if his garden would receive enough rainfall that week: very serious matter.
The final photo, Nonna Farming (2008), captures his grandmother doing what she loved most: tending her garden at their farm in Simcoe County.
