Inner City Visions Photography is an exceptional
and innovative program in the Lakeshore area
focused on bringing together youth with
professional artists. For its third consecutive year,
I.C. Visions works together with inner city youth to
explore and solve personal struggles, and reflect
on community using photography as a means of
expression. I.C.Visions recruits local youth, and
through instruction, guidance, lectures, and field
trips aims to foster self confidence, positivity and
creative expression. The talented youth of
I.C.Visions together with youth from three local
high schools present Re-Capture. This exhibition
sees these young artists impart their fresh and
unique perspectives on community and their world
through photography. Inner City Visions wishes to
thank the Toronto Arts Council for generously
funding this project.
