Human culture is a veneer that is simultaneously
fragile, vicious, shallow, and exquisitely beautiful.
We may be trying to turn Nature into an artefact,
but we must recognize that that desire drives most
of human thought and endeavour. Where our
efforts at the objectification of the world are
forced to end and where nature and chaos must
begin is the juncture that I study in this series.
