Featuring the work of emerging Toronto-based visual artist Grace Wang, Trace is a series of 35mm and medium format photographs captured in single and multiple in-camera exposures. The artist uses traditional darkroom techniques to explore new expanses of memory, identity, and time in the realm of the natural world.

As one branch yearns for another, a single flower stretches across water, light spilling, hands reaching, searching across time, space and frames for a trace of something manifestly alive — some vital testament to our presence in this uncertain world.
