The online exhibition Identity • Connection • Place showcases work by sixteen artists from Canada and the UK who participated in Feminist Photography Network’s virtual peer-to-peer residencies. Identity, Connection and Place were themes weaving through the works and experiences of the residency itself. For many of us, this support structure helped sustain our identity as artmakers alongside demanding roles like caregiver or breadwinner.

Receiving creative perspectives and research material from other places was energising, and the process resulted in many rich national and transatlantic connections. The exhibition includes three livestreamed events, seven commissioned texts and an installation of images in the A Space Gallery Vitrines.
