The West End Phoenix, a hyper-local nonprofit print-only community newspaper, has collaborated with photographer Jeff Harris to “plant” election-style lawn signs bearing portraits of the neighbourhood’s spring  flowers. This project examines the way front gardens across the city connect neighbours and passersby – drawing us out and slowing us down.
