SWIMMERS; WAVES
Two exhibitions of digital photographs taken at
Bruce Peninsula National Park reflect Ruth
Mittelholtz’s on-going fascination with water and
water-associated imagery. SWIMMERS, in the
Process Gallery, suggests the bravery and fragility
of the individuals who frolic in the rock-studded,
intensely-hued water of Georgian Bay. WAVES, in
the Cell Gallery, a series of close-range
photographs of water, records the ephemeral
compositions created by the dance of the waves.
