Conjuring Cricket
Cricket as metaphor: the batsman and bowler face
one another, but it is the wicket which beckons.
For the bowler, the feat is to strike at the wicket.
For the batsman, the challenge is defense. For
both, the wicket typifies conquest.
‘Conjuring Cricket’ presents images of a sport
which links seemingly disparate groups, conjuring
up the best of each.
This exhibition is produced with the kind support of
the Consulate of Antigua and Barbuda.
