Miguel Aguayo The New Age Of Diversity?
Drawing upon his work in human
rights and diversity activism, Aguayo’s
exhibit questions the progress of society
in the later half of the 20th century
to become truly inclusive. Aguayo
also explores whether the globalized
acceleration of diversity in Canada
has lead to the integration of people
and cultures. On display at Toronto’s
Deaf Culture Centre, The New Age of
Diversity? acts as a symbol for the deaf
community’s celebration of deaf life.
