In collaboration with Diego Camacho, Mirna Chacin Elegy for the Souls On Hold
A multimedia installation of photographs, mapping projections, sound, and augmented reality, Elegy for the Souls on Hold celebrates the lives of the many who have died during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the onsite installation, virtual programming includes an artist’s talk and a panel discussion on loss and grieving in these unusual times. Inspired by Jorge Manrique’s Hispanic Renaissance stanzas, this project revisits metaphors of life, memory, and resilience.
