More so than ever, many photographers are divided between technological advances and tradition. The Purist/The Manipulators reflects this divide by showcasing the contrasting works of “the purists”—film and darkroom devotees—and “the manipulators”—those who embrace digital media. The exhibition includes eight artists who champion their respective crafts and equally push the limits of these two parallel photographic ideologies.
