Difficult Placement brings together diverse interpretations of what it means to be a photographic artist in the expanded field. These five artists all assert the photograph as being a physical object over a depiction of events. The exhibition presents the viewer with a brief overview of photographic work produced in Toronto that works outside of the conventions of a simple snapshot.
