Durdy Bayramov (1938–2014) was an acclaimed Eurasian artist whose paintings hang in museums and private collections around the world. Exhibited for the first time, Bayramov’s black-and-white photographs were taken in the rural villages of his native Turkmenistan. These beautiful images reveal how the country of his birth fascinated and inspired him.
