Depth of Field: Tintype Photography is an exhibition of tintype photography created using large-format cameras. Sugino has been exploring 8×10 tintypes over the last 12 years. In this exhibition, he presents work made with 8×10 and 11×14 cameras, as well as ultra large-format tintypes made using a 20×20 camera he built. His photography includes figure studies and still-life subjects in extremely shallow focus.
